Mandie Bartle Counselling

Hello and welcome to my website. My name is Mandie Bartle and I am a qualified BACP  registered counsellor with experience in working with depression, anxiety disorders, stress and anger management.

I have particular experience in working with the effects of childhood abuse and trauma and domestic abuse and work with adults and young people, using a range of counselling strategies to suit the individual need.

What is Counselling?

Counselling can enable you to make sense of your thoughts, feelings and behaviours and explore options for change by providing a safe space where you will be heard and respected.

At any time in your life, events can take over leaving you feeling anxious or depressed or early negative experiences or trauma can replay in your mind causing distress.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a talking therapy. How you think can affect how you feel and in turn your behaviour. In times of distress thinking can become extreme and unhelpful, which can make you feel worse and behave in a way which prolongs your distress. CBT helps you to identify and change your thinking and unhelpful behaviours, resulting in improvements in your life.

I practice from the Cottage Therapy Centre in Kenilworth and Life-Ways Natural Health Centre in Stratford-Upon-Avon, both of which provide a professional and comfortable setting for your sessions.
